Partners

The AUDIS ITN is composed of four academic and two industry partners selected to cover the wide range of interdisciplinary topics that are relevant to this network. All of the academic partners in this network are leading European research universities. They represent world-class expertise in statistical signal processing, auditory acoustics, audiology, hearing aids, and cochlear implants. The academic research labs of AUDIS partners are well equipped with computers, software, measurement rooms and measurement equipment. All research institutions foster academic environments where research and teaching go hand-in-hand. For each academic institution, AUDIS sponsors two doctoral students (Early Stage Researchers) and one post-doc research fellow (Experienced Researcher).

The two industrial partners SAT and BE-CTC are technology leaders and global players in their respective markets. While SAT develops and manufactures hearing aids, BE-CTC is specialized in cochlear implants. Both companies cover their markets with the full range of state-of-the-art products. For each industrial partner AUDIS sponsors one doctoral student (Early Stage Researcher).
