Asynchronous stimulation in cochlear implants
Summary:
The main objective of the proposed project is to develop a framework for the next generation of cochlear implants (CI) processors. This project suggests novel methods to improve speech processing for CI-users and thus improving their quality of life. The specific objective of this project is to develop a stimulation pattern that adapts to the specific information in different parts of the stimulus and between channels by asynchronous splitting of information.
